SWTOR - Ouk - 01-29-2012
I believe this is more of an introduction as I have already received an invite to The Purge being RL friends with Maranatha. I have around 15 years experience with MMOs starting back in the day with; Ultima Online, then playing EverQuest on VZ until I sold my character to go play Star Wars Galaxy for short time before moving on to WoW on Manaroth for a short time as well. I took a break for a while from MMO's focusing on more single player / console games...oh yeah and that thing called life...before jumping back in a little bit with Perfect World International for a short time before beginning a fairly long stint playing Aion. My Aion account is still active; but I haven't played in about a month and a half or so...putting forth a lot of time in swtor.
My main is Ouk, currently a 33 sniper. He is 400 in armstech and can make perhaps 15 some purple artifact weapons for BH or IA type players from 9 to 41. I'd be happy to make anything for anyone that has a need. I still need to work on purple barrels and level 45-to-50 weapons. I also own numerous 48-to-50 orange recipes...but they won't be useful until I am of that level for BoP resources.
My alt is Oukai, currently a 16 Jugg. He is nearly 300 armormech making several nice items [mostly blue, but several purples] in the lower lever range 9-33 for BH / AI types. This char will mostly be afk or logging on and off to run missions or craft for the time being. That may change if a jugg is needed for raiding or depending on pvp changes to sniper / jugg code...
I haven't done a lot of pvp yet; although, I have read up a lot and hope to take part soon enough. Needed to get a certain amount of skill tree / abilities to make it worth my while is my understanding thus far. My focus thus far has been leveling and crafting as the game is still really, really young.
IRL, I'm a Storage System Specialist for a tier 1 Research University in an HPCC environment. I manage nearly 3 petabytes of data as well as part of a team that takes care of about 15k cpu cores mostly based on RHEL. I'm a massive foodie and entertainment consumer.
