rofl! Yeah, dumb prank though. Guns are probably restricted in Miami but you can concealed carry in Florida.
There's actually "zombie parties" often enough, too. I know someone who seems to attend about 1 a month for some reason or another (like every fundraiser or movie event is another zombie party -- she's in Asheville, NC. Mix of hippies and rednecks and you can concealed carry. Presumably she doesn't rawr at people and chase them around parking lots but I've never asked).
What's with zombies, anyway. They're waaay more popular than I can ever recall vampires or werewolves being. I guess they just hit the sweet spot between "threatening" but "not so threatening that you can't be expected to deal with a few of them".

I think the thing about Zombies is many people think some sort of virus / genetic contagion is actually a feasible Apocalypse. Where as vampires and Godzilla are just silly science fiction.
And of course you have the slow moving zombies which can be beat on the head with a stick and other means of smashing brains, which is always fun.
