I am lookin for a guild that is serious about pvp... and is tight knit and one in it's sharing of profession skills. I am an alchemist (not maxed out but close) and herbalist. Right now a lvl 46 mage. I will hold out for your guild for awhile longer, but i am getting offers all the time... i was on BH (as I know you were as well) in the guild Undead Empire.... i am hoping that you guys will invite me so i am not victim to another newbie guild....thank you

Hiya Kiryn... thanks for posting. Like the sticky in this section says, we are never actively recruiting... but we are always on the lookout for good people that will be an asset to the group.
Take a look at our active roster (there is a link in the sticky) and try to group up wth some folks around your level. I should be on tonight, so i'll try and drop you a tell sometime in game.

The Purge is mainly comprised of "adult" players and their relatives, real life friends, and even their kids, although we've picked up a few people now and then along the way. As Sorna mentioned, we are never actively recruiting--many of us are from the Vallon Zek Everquest pvp server, and have gamed with one another for many years now. However, we do accept new members every now and then, so long as they are friendly, pvp-oriented, and enjoy a laid-back, fun gaming atmosphere. If this is the way you are, too, then you have applied to the right guild.
That being said, I must address this:

It is nice that you are willing to "hold out for us"; unfortunately, if no one in the guild knows you either in real life or has gamed with you extensively, your application may take a while. Between us and our ally guild <Big Bad Baddies>, we have hundreds of members, so we can afford to be choosy and take our time. This does not mean that your application has no chance--quite the contrary. We do accept new members, but you should expect it to take a few days at the earliest. You can shorten this by actively grouping with our members in your level range and accompanying us on raids. Once we get to know you (and if you are over level 50), a sponsoring member will post your name in our RECRUITMENT section, and members have 24 hours to object. Since you are still under 50, if enough members sponsor you then you can get in a lot quicker.
So seek us out for groups and good luck to you! :wink:
