I'm giving Rift a fair try because it seems pretty friendly to the "casual" PvP minded player. I've played with a lot of you through years probably a lot longer than I'd ever expect to still "know" people from playing a video game... like a decade now (starting with EQ/VZ in 2000 and hopping game to game [DAoC, WoW, Vanguard]). I see a lot of familiar names around this forum and it would be cool to play with you guys again.
I rolled on Faemist basically just because of the pilgrimage of VZ players -- I rolled Defiant first on accident and got a Marksman up to level 25, then when I realized you guys were on the other faction I re-rolled today and got my Marksman back up to 15 (name is "Enix" in game, it's been a pretty long time since I used the name Plep but that's how most of you know me I suppose). I level pretty quick and have a lot of free time (sporadically so, days on and off).
Some names you might remember me as:
Vallon- Plep <Order of the Black Rose>, <Macabre>
Sullon- Noro <Honorbound>
EQEMU- Limit, Epoch, Esteem
Mannoroth- Esteem <Macabre>
I'm pretty much totally PvP oriented and always have been, but I have no problem raiding/whatever to get people what they need.
Anyways, cool to see so many people from way back still playing. See some of you in game!

Were you a halfling or dorf in EQ? I think I remember killing some black rose shorties with similar names
