Favorite apps - Grunldesnapp - 11-10-2011 What are your favorite apps? What do you burn time with, be more productive with? Games Zombiefarm Angrybirds Wesnoth Battleheart Food Grill it! Suishi (teach me suishi) General Passwd (my memory is becoming mush, runs in the family) Huffpost Blacklibrary BBC news AJE Live (AlJazeera) CalenGoo (LOVE this one, ties Outlook, GoogleCalender and my phone together) WhiteNoise (another favorite, generates white noise and a kick ass ascending alarm) EDIT AJE News-when i was in Bahrain and the roits were going down it was the best way to get real information on what was going on down the street. The Western news put out a bunch of BS and bad info during that time. Re: Favorite apps - Diggles - 11-10-2011 Shazam or whatever that one that identifies songs by listening to them. I showed one of my clients this program and they thought I was some genius. I reminded them I didnt create the program, simply knew it existed. Re: Favorite apps - Grieve - 11-11-2011 I used to play Wesnoth a lot - that's a good one. Right now I'm not playing a lot of games, and what I do play is more influenced by what my wife and kids are playing: Where's My Water? Hanging With Friends Scrabble Good but haven't played for a while: Carcassonne Samurai Catan Fieldrunners Angry Birds Cut the Rope Lux Deluxe 2 (really good Risk variant) Deathworm General: Blastr (geek news) CNBC Realtime BBC News Drudge Have to check out the AlJazeera app. |
