I always enjoyed Sci fi books that defined an alien species as non-humanoid. Always bothered me that so many writers always put a head, 2 legs and 2 arms on aliens. The real deal will be some sort of insect of smart fungus that thinks and manipulates DNA like we learn to walk.
If they didnt, half the movie would be translation.
