Music purchasing websites
#1
So I like iTunes as a player, but have stopped purchasing from them, even after they lifted the copy protection, as the .m4a files are useless in any other application (making movies, powerpoints, etc). I shouldnt have to dick around with a 3rd party software to convert shit.

I've used Rhapsody and Amazon for a bit, which are in .mp3 form. Rhapsody is ok but is missing a fair amount of the stuff I like, and I cant stand the ads. I'd rather not have to look at some fat chics stretch marks when I am looking to buy some Heavy Metal.

I was reading an article on that Google is going to release a music download search engine for people to better find what they're looking for and they mentioned http://www.lala.com . anyone else used this? It seems like exactly what I'm looking for. I get to listen to the FULL song once before purchasing (wish it was 3 or 4...but thats better than 30seconds). Plus it looks like you can listen to your purchased songs from any computer via the web.
