Phone App Data
#1
Right - I am fairly behind the times when it comes to cell phones having not owned one at all until relatively recently. I just upgraded my phone to a shiny new Samsung Galaxy S3. Is there any way to transfer my app data without having to root both phones? I don't want to lose all my game progress darn it.

Some games may have their save data somewhere accessible, look in the data/data folder when browsing it.

But not, if you have not rooted the original phone it will probably not be accessible (and you can't root it retroactively since that requires wiping the phone).

I would root your S3 and install titanium backup to be proactive this time Wink
