Hi Guys,
I was formerly a member up until twoish months ago, coming from VZ. In VZ i was a female de necro Saelanie, and a human monk Cauldrons, among other more infamous characters. I stupidly quit The Purge in the heat of the moment because I was frustrated that there were very few original purge regularly playing it seemed and I had a disagreement with a fellow member. I have hopefully since resolved that disagreement and hold no ill will towards anyone, and have been noticing more and more of the older members are back.
I would like to reapply to join the purge. The characters I would be playing are Raon, a 60 shaman, and Roag, a 60 rogue. The main reason I would like to reapply is so I can mostly pvp with some real life friends in the guild, and because The Purge is the only place I ever really felt at home. Since leaving I have only joined <War Torn>, a new guild, to help out a real life friend level who was entering the game. I have since left on friendly relations, and seek to return to The Purge. I have neither joined nor applied to any other high end guilds nor do i have any real interest in them.
I am mostly interested in pvp, and see pve as a means to an end, to get better in pvp. Thus, most of the time I will probably be pvping, but can help out in pve or on raids to mc or whatever on whichever character is needed at the time. I would describe myself as fairly competent in pvp and pve. Both the rogue and the shaman are relatively decently geared pre mc, and I can get fire resist gear up on both if it is needed. I play causally, depending on how much 'free' time I get away from work/school/friends. But like i said, the main reason I would like to rejoin is so I can join some of my rl friends and some older members (along with newer members!) in some old pvp fun.
