Meet and greet

Hey everybody.

I thought I'd start a thread for personal introductions.
So here goes. You all know me as Ravenna but my name is Evelien. I'm dutch and was born in december of 1980. I used to do free running and all manor of martial arts. These days I can't do all that anymore. I also studied mathematics at the univercity of Utrecht.

You can expect me to be up at odd hours due to ptsd related sleep disorders.

Thats enough serious stuff. I like animals, specifically cats and dogs. I think empire strikes back is the best star wars movie ever made. I am gratefull JJ did for star wars the opposite of what he did for star trek. I think the only good thing that the prequal trilogy ever caused was that padme got to do that black swan movie.

Thats it for me. Nice to meet all of you. I don't think I would still be playing this game if not for all of you.

I'm married with a daughter, and a son due in February.

I love board games and role playing games, but don't have as much time as I used to.

As far as the movies go, you are correct in that Empire is the best. JJ Abrams did a great job on Star Wars because he basically made Start Trek into a Star Wars movie.

I live just outside Toronto, Canada. I spend most of my days just keeping the igloo in one piece. Heatwaves suck.

I'm a gamer (video, RPG and board / tabletop games).
Married two years ago and just had out first child less than 2 months ago. A little girl that I will shape into a massive geek.

Trek > Wars. Just sayin'.
(of course, modern Trek movies aren't included. While they are fun, they don't capture the essence of true Trek)
