Full Version: Shadowknight heavy? Maybe.

As my mind wandered on my commute home last night, I remembered a wonderful old moment from the VZ days... I was leveling up my cleric, Xsiggles after it was discovered that healers were kind of nice to have... in the early days of iggles, we were just a tad melee heavy. Hell, with all the trolls, we were just plain heavy. I digress.

I was grinding in Guk with a group of iggle shadowknights (perhaps one warrior); they were in their upper 30's, maybe a 40, I was lowest level at somewhere around 34- after a bout of frog slaying, I was spending some quality time downing fast food while staring at my spellbook (meditation, yay!). I think at least half of the others were fishing while they waited. Anywho, my med break was interrupted rather rudely by a passing high-level (near cap I think) Pekadin who came rapidly around a corner and jumped us before we could really react. Thinking to himself, "ahh, lowbies!" He started into me with a rather painful crit, removing my wonderous spellbook from sight... Before I could even stop drinking soda, he recieved a triple harmtouch. It either completely dropped him, or brought him so low that he died within moments - I had dr. pepper coming out of my nose.

I miss VZ.
ah HA... finally I found out who was Xiggles. I had some SS(lost now) of you and my SK(speedie) sitting in South Ro. We were killing Skeletons(some special name) by the north ro zone line. Good ole Dial-up times lol. I was so far behind because I wasn't a powergamer and SK's didn't level that fast. Then I started my warrior.
Dry Bones Skeletons!

That would be it, haha!
Ahh, dry bones were a great leveling staple for a cleric. Also made for some good fights as Barbies and peks tried to go south.
I miss EQ.
old eq, pre-luclin era where there werent any safe zones.
Not for nothing but you can play this with loads of ex-VZ/TZ people.

I have seriously considered this... SERIOUSLY considered it.

Only problem is, I would miss all you bastards, and it wouldn't be as much fun.
You made a cleric to look up to me. Caveatum.

Vllad, Squiggles and Feniggles.

Vllad
I knew Squig was one of 'em... I couldn't remember for sure if you were there or not V. Big Grin

I seriously could not stop laughing. One of those cases that despite the other player's avatar not having movable facial features.... you could "see the look on his face" through his character's motion. Good times.
