Not a problem for you right now, Zeph, you're already up over $10k thanks to your penny stock stem cell pick!
However, Dustie is up the most, thanks to his (*ahem*) highly diversified Wells Fargo portfolio. $21k in half a day - not bad! You could probably sell right now and still be ahead of us all in a year...

Yeah I found them by googlin stem cell companies...
they have some proprietary IP ... thought they were worth a shot in the dark.

Okay, added OFXs to top level post (you need to rename them from txt to ofx - for some reason I couldn't upload ofx files).
Note there a $10 fee for all buys and sells (gotta discourage day traders somehow...)

20k DRYS (Dry Shipping Company)
20k F (Ford)
20k WFC (Wells Fargo)
20k GRT (Glimcher Realty Trust)
These are all high risk / potential for high gain based on the economy bouncing back
. I should add, I dont own all of these IRL.

The truth is that my goal was to make 15% over the next year. If you and your trader friends in your infinite wisdom want to wip saw the market around and give me my year long goal in a day, then so be it! =)

Now that I've achieved my goal of showing Dustie for the high-risk day trader he really is, we can stop this sham of a competition right now.
Anyway, I'm tempted to disqualify him, since I know full well that he's the last person to put all his money into one stock, especially a mega high risk one. You're trying to game the system, you tart!

Actually, Wells and the financials are being gamed! SKF and the other financial ultra shorts are literally trying to kill the financial system so they can turn a quick profit. They're playing a financial short squeeze that is borderline illegal as far as I can tell. I hope they all die a terrible and painful death for putting quick profits ahead of a real market value driven system where honest short selling helps define a true market price.

hey Ill back up Dustie here. Its kinda like going to a company casino night where they give you $1000 of fake money. I go to the craps table and just make a killing. Betting high risk!
So My golf buddies and I go to a real casino for a golf trip. We are waking arond at night and I figure what the hell. $200 on the craps table.
The running joke is how fast can you lost $200 at craps? Somewhere just under 5 minutes.
When there's nothing really on the line there's all sorts of risk your willing to take.

Everything is up today (except gold and stem cells!). This could be the big bear market rally people have been talking about. A lot of the major shorts have been calling it. I've bought QLD calls - keeping my fingers crossed.

You only need to download an OFX if someone makes a change to their portfolio. I'm going to publish snapshots of each portfolio at the end of every week (although probably not the next two weekends, since I'll be away on my honeymoon).

Couple things I noticed with the OFX files..
Breand is aparently in CAD dollars while everyone else is in USD.
Also it shows us all as having our initial 100K cash.

Hmm, weird. I'm actually playing around with the Google Finance API right now (I'm trying to write a stock app for my iPhone), so if I can I'll just make a webpage that displays all the portfolios in realtime.
