Remembering fallen guildmates!
#1
Just wanted to take the time out to /salute Eggo. Some Purgies may remember him - he was one heck of a cool dude that gamed with us in WoW for a number of months. Really loved hanging out with everyone and probably would have been with us still to this day gearing up for the Warhammer onslaught; unfortunately, his life was claimed in a motorcycle accident a few days after New Years back in 2006.

Very friendly guy on Teamspeak, and left behind a wife and a child. Couldn't ask for a more solid and friendly person. It would have been awesome to still have him around, but life happens.

He made very few posts on this board, but you can dig them out of archives quite easily. Anyhow, just wanted to say you were an awesome guy there, Eggo, and I miss all of our silly antics!

Everything CKay said is true, then some. Of course, I never could persuade him to name his pet "Leggomy"
You don't win the Game of Death by dying first. The name is misleading.

Yeah, and a pretty good one at that. Nice guy to boot..

Even in this game world we all spend our free time in, things like this are very real. And while I didn't know eggo very well, it reminds me that there ARE people in this guild I've gamed with for the better part of a decade, and if we lost one of them, I would feel that as a very personal loss. These games have provided all of us with the opportunity to meet some pretty darn awesome people, so on top of the fact that this is an opportunity to remember Eggo, this serves as an opportunity to be thankful for those of us still around as well.

You guys are awesome.

I didn't know him, but my respects to his family and friends he left behind.

Also, a salute and moment for all the other friends who are no longer with us that we have gotten to know during our time of online gaming. I know Defiant lost 1 years ago and was sorely missed. They will all be missed, but never forgotten.

Definately purge material.
My name is Waeloga and I approve of this message.

I wonder / worry the same. He used to visit here but haven't seen him post in a long time. He was playing Wow for a some time.

Hope his health is ok.
