Someone explain it to me, wtf is this thing. It sounds like just facebook status updates without everything else.
And when someone says twitter I want to slap them.

Yep, it's like mini-blogging. I forget what the limit is per post, but it's really small...180 characters or something?
It's pretty stupid. Although I may one day try to tie it into The Purge for gaming. I think it could be really useful to have a way to twitter what we're doing at the moment in a particular game. Like a page on our site where you can go see twitters from Warhammer like, "Forming up groups for a raid" or a twitter from Pirates about, "Spanish attacking St.Johns in force", etc. Something we could look at to tempt us into logging into a particular game because Something Is Happening. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to set it up so that 1 page could easily display twitters from multiple people. I'm sure there's a way, I just couldn't figure it out in 5 minutes and gave up.

I'll admit to being geeky enough to Facebook, but I don't see the point of Twatting unless she is really hot and then I'll just keep it between us in a text.

I don't think of Facebook as "geeky" if anything its the exact opposite. Most of the people I know that use Facebook or Myspace wouldn't know how to do anything else on a computer otherwise.

Im one of those types that says if I have Facebook, why on earth would I need twitter?
The main thing that's pissing me off actually is that Facebook keeps making changes to the front page to make it more like Twitter. If I wanted it to act like Twitter, Id just fuckin use Twitter. I know it's the cool thing to hate every update they make, but Im sorry, I really hate the newest update, lol.
