1) Get novice medic and go buy some advanced stim-B's that are rated for over 300. I use some that are rated for about 340 and I can heal myself for up to 500 health/action and all I have is novice medic (0000). Standard price seems to be 2000-3000 credits for about 30 charges, and imo they are well worth that price. 30 charges of what is almost a "complete heal" is a lot.
2) Use dizzy + suppression fire if you have them. It's the poor man's knockdown.
3) Use pets. Everyone can have a level 15 pet, these can hit for about 160 and have 2000 HAM, so they're well worth it for PvP.
I personally use my faction pets a LOT. I'm imperial, but I usually stick with my stormtroopers. Two of them make a huge difference. Most people are too chicken to use their faction pets, so it ends up being me + 2 stormtroopers vs 3 rebel players. If they'd each brought out two of their own faction pets I'd have been toast, but because they didn't want to risk it, they basically hand me the win.
4) Be overt if you're going to do destroy missions. Being covert just means I can attack you and you won't see it coming. At least if you're overt you'll see me as a red dot and can get off the first shot.
5) Get the hell out of the cities. Anytime I arrive in a city the first thing I do is run for the exit. If my destination is west and the nearest exit is east, I will run east and circle around. Cities are deathtraps.
