Hey, Russell sucks - but numbers don't lie. His career was 18 TDs-23 Picks and a 65.2 QBR.

Leaf was 14 TDS - 36 Picks and a 50 QBR.

Thats almost 3 picks per touchdown..

1. JR

3. Ted Gregory
4. Jimmy Hines
5. Shante Carver
6. Kim McQuilken
7. John McKay Jr,
8. Rusty Lisch
9. Rashard Anderson
10. Spergon Wynn

Haha! Babe Laufenberg. QBs are easy targets.

The problem with picking the 10 worst is, how to consider playing time and exposure to criticism? I think there should be a mimimum amount of exposure to determine consistency of suckage so we don't confuse lack of ability with actual ability compared to hyped ability. I mean, really, Ted Gregory? I'd have gone for Tony Mandarich as my o-line rep.

Personally, my all time favorite worst player is Johnny "Lam" Jones. UT grad with world class speed, first NFL player to sign a million dollar contract, but no hands. It was just fun to watch this guy break wide open against triple coverage, only to drop the ball. Almost as much fun as watching Renaldo Nehemiah, a world class hurdler with good hands who couldn't run a pattern, or Ron Brown, a word class sprinter/kick returner/ wide receiver, who Al Davis tried to convert to DBack.

The numbers do lie. Did you not see him play?

He fell down A LOT! While JR's fumbles only resulted in one more loss than Leaf he dropped the ball 18 more times (almost double) than Leaf.

Leaf made 3 different rosters. Russell made 1 roster and only because the coaches were made to keep him.

Leaf was bad but he tried to be a player. Russell was bad and couldn't care less about playing football.

Leaf attended practice but just didn't get it. Russell wouldn't even show up unless the Raiders sent drivers around to go get him.

Leaf was a no talent retard that at least tried to play QB and put forth effort to be an NFL QB. Leaf could compete for jobs in the NFL.

JR was retard that wouldn't even try. He took dive after dive because he was affraid to be on the field, he made no attempt to stay in shape, he refused to watch film or apply his craft. He showed up only when forced to show up to collect his cash and he couldn't remember his plays.

If you were a coach and your only two choices were JR and Leaf you have to take Leaf. Leaf may be bad but at least he will try. JR wouldn't even put forth an effort.

I'd still take JR, because, as coach, I couldn't help but think I could do a better motivation job than Lane Kiffin. 3 other coaches couldn't do jack for Ryan Leaf.

What the hell happened? Keenum looked pretty good the first half. I watched the start of the second half, then switched the game off to for movie night with the little lady. I know Kubiak vapor-locked at halftime, but every report I heard said it was nothing serious. Did Wade Phillips do that bad of a job over the course of 30 minutes?

Oh, and, go Brownies!

Our fuckwit aggie kicker missed 3 FGs.

Pretty much what Jake said... Our kicker sucks ass. Keenum was still pretty good in the 2nd half(although he didn't throw 3 more TD's to AJ like he did in the 1st half), but he got us in field goal range and did enough to win the game.

Also our defense takes stupid penalties(5 penalties for 86 yards). The first 12 Colts points of the game could have been avoided by not giving up a 30+ yard pass interference, a stupid ass roughing the passer penalty and the 3rd I can't remember, but was avoidable(maybe another pass interference). It also doesn't help that Jonathan Joseph can't cover a decent receiver consistently...

Ben Tate has 4 broken ribs and gave up on 2 or 3 runs that could have been first downs if he would have just ducked his head and tried for them.

All in all that's why we lost. Keenum was great and made MULTIPLE plays that Schaub couldn't dream of making.

I'm not sure if Phillips is to blame, although him going from DC to HC caused our offense and defense to falter, so maybe him not controlling the D as much hurt our defense and him controlling the offense more hurt that... although I doubt he's really to blame.

Blame the offensive coordinator who was calling the plays. Up by a good lead and the team decides to run the ball constantly so they can just punt the ball. We changed our offense drastically in the 2nd half which gave the Colts the ball a ton. Keenum played well and all of his mistakes were either dropped by the other team, or caught by our receivers. And then of course blame our kicker. Him missing the 55 at the end sucked but it's still a 55 yard field goal. The 2 he missed before that were totally makeable. This is at least the 2nd game that our kicker has cost us the game.

Could have something to do with the fact that the guy who calls the offensive plays had a stroke or something right before halftime.

First I've heard anyone mention stroke, but it does appear that's being reported as a possibility. I was thinking it was kidney stones or something less severe... but yea, I think it's pretty obvious that the play calling changed in the 2nd half and that's obviously attributed to Kubiak going down.

As much as some may hate Kubiak... him going to Keenum this week and seeing the play selection when he's out, makes me dislike him less. And with Keenum playing, his play calling hasn't been as predictable as it was previously in the season.

No shit that happened? Oh wait.. I'm not living on a different planet Smile

You would think that Kubiak and the OC would be on the same page and would call similar schemes but it's a trend with teams getting big leads going much more conservative and I think that had as much to do with it as anything. We ran the ball a lot more in the 2nd half (which yes I understand) but you have to be a little more creative than they were. I'm sure the Colts defense had a lot to do with it as well seeing as they adjusted and started blitzing but it would have been nice to see some screen plays start to show up.

Kubiak is pretty much the OC as far as playcalling goes. I'm normally cricial of his run-run-pass-punt gulf coast offense, but Dennison is even worse.

It didn't help our playcalling that Foster was out and our backup was playing with four broken ribs. Also, I want whatever industrial strength painkiller they gave Tate to be able to play with four broken ribs.

I didn't think the blitzing really altered the way Keenum played too much. That one where they brought the house and Keenum hit Hopkins was pretty awesome(nice catch too).

Yeah I know Kubiak does all the play calling and I (like you) am very critical of it and agree that it was worse after he was gone. As far as the pain killers.. no shit, but they didn't give Tate much confidence because he pulled up or slid on multiple plays that should have resulted in a first down. A couple of them we still got the first down, but the time he slid, it cost us points. Dennis Johnson did a pretty good job as a faster smaller running option from Tate. I don't know what happened to Foster but the fact that he was out after the first drive(did he even get into the game?) just pissed me off. I would have rather seen another running back in pads than Foster in sweats..

I thought Keenum handled the blitz as well but the play calling didn't do any favors.

Foster didn't even get the ball... I think he got hurt on the 1st play of the game(or close to it). I remember seeing him not catch a pass and then come up lame... so basically he hurt himself running.

Tate pulling up pretty much infuriated me, especially the one he slid. I mean I give him credit for playing with 4 broken ribs... but if you're a running back and you're going to alter the way you play because you're too hurt to take a hit... get him the hell out of there.

On another note... The ref's looked like they were 0 for 2 on the replays last night. That fumble definitely didn't hit his foot when he was out of bounds(although it's possible his hand was touching the ball while he was out of bounds) and I though Johnson caught the ball as well...

Kubiak released to go home. He had a "mini-stroke" which they said was basically just a blood clot. He'll be out this week and should be back next... not that our season isn't already over anyways.

Foster done for the season with a back injury... fixing his ruptured disk that he injured in training camp and re-injured last week.

Good for the Texans, although it was probably true. He was an over paid bench player.

Yea pretty lame... I mean Keenum wasn't lighting it up, but he had no time to do anything and the O-line was sucking ass.

There is no way Kubiak keeps his job after this season. That was batshit crazy right there...
