Them's fightin' words! I agree that beef does make some good BBQ and am quite fond of BBQ beef brisquit. Pulled pork though is fabulous as well (and is my preference when it comes to BBQ) and if you are having it drowned in vinegar and tomato sauce then you have not had good BBQ pulled pork. For that matter, where the heck are you getting BBQ drowned in vinegar? The only way I get vinegar on my BBQ is via a dollop of vinegar based cole slaw on my sandwich. When it comes to ribs there are things to like about both beef and pork ribs and I am happy with either.

I watched a food show a while back where they did a big comparison of BBQ from the different styles prevalent in the US and had a big taste competition and Memphis style BBQ won out over the other regions thus confirming what I already knew.
