Its more then just the cable companies though. The TV networks are resisting the streaming, because they like the revenue to their own websites, not to mention the free advertising they get on other shows they produce. TV stations are starting to get firm with cable providers as well.
My bet is that the entire industry is about to go through a significant rate hike to consumers.
