Leaf was 14 TDS - 36 Picks and a 50 QBR.
Thats almost 3 picks per touchdown..
The numbers do lie. Did you not see him play?
He fell down A LOT! While JR's fumbles only resulted in one more loss than Leaf he dropped the ball 18 more times (almost double) than Leaf.
Leaf made 3 different rosters. Russell made 1 roster and only because the coaches were made to keep him.
Leaf was bad but he tried to be a player. Russell was bad and couldn't care less about playing football.
Leaf attended practice but just didn't get it. Russell wouldn't even show up unless the Raiders sent drivers around to go get him.
Leaf was a no talent retard that at least tried to play QB and put forth effort to be an NFL QB. Leaf could compete for jobs in the NFL.
JR was retard that wouldn't even try. He took dive after dive because he was affraid to be on the field, he made no attempt to stay in shape, he refused to watch film or apply his craft. He showed up only when forced to show up to collect his cash and he couldn't remember his plays.
If you were a coach and your only two choices were JR and Leaf you have to take Leaf. Leaf may be bad but at least he will try. JR wouldn't even put forth an effort.
