We ran the ball a lot more in the 2nd half (which yes I understand) but you have to be a little more creative than they were. I'm sure the Colts defense had a lot to do with it as well seeing as they adjusted and started blitzing but it would have been nice to see some screen plays start to show up.
Kubiak is pretty much the OC as far as playcalling goes. I'm normally cricial of his run-run-pass-punt gulf coast offense, but Dennison is even worse.
It didn't help our playcalling that Foster was out and our backup was playing with four broken ribs. Also, I want whatever industrial strength painkiller they gave Tate to be able to play with four broken ribs.
Yeah I know Kubiak does all the play calling and I (like you) am very critical of it and agree that it was worse after he was gone. As far as the pain killers.. no shit, but they didn't give Tate much confidence because he pulled up or slid on multiple plays that should have resulted in a first down. A couple of them we still got the first down, but the time he slid, it cost us points. Dennis Johnson did a pretty good job as a faster smaller running option from Tate. I don't know what happened to Foster but the fact that he was out after the first drive(did he even get into the game?) just pissed me off. I would have rather seen another running back in pads than Foster in sweats..

That one where they brought the house and Keenum hit Hopkins was pretty awesome(nice catch too).
I thought Keenum handled the blitz as well but the play calling didn't do any favors.
