We haven't really decided on faction. I am kind of leaning towards Aldmeri (elves and kitty cats) because their racials seem really nice for PvP and I like their attitude.
With the pre-order bonus apparently you can have one (or more?) character of any race join any alliance so it doesn't really matter which team we join, other than trying to figure out which one is going to have the best time in PvP. I'm a little worried that Aldmeri will end up with more PvErs but it's hard to say. If you actually follow ESO lore, the Aldmeri are the PvP team. They're the ones who want to take over the world through violence because they basically think humans are vermin.
