It is fansinating what people take a liking to and how much good casting plays such a key role on the success of your characters. Their is a buzz on every board and general agreement from most GOT fans that they really liked Karsi and was hoping she was going to remain on the show. That didn't click for myself but I think most people thought they found the new Ygritt. Similiar to the Oberyn situation, this is how quickly you can go from minor characters to someone people are attached to very qucikly.
I was thinking about Jakes comment about starting new characters in the penultimate season that I suppose if done correctly does have some chance for success however remote.
This didn't happen for anyone that was cast for Dorne. I guess when you cast based on the quality of your breast rather then the fit for the role that is what happens. It makes you wonder how the same people can cast some roles so perfectly and others just crash and burn?
