If they wait 18 months on the next season, and hope that they have enough from WoW to cover it, then wait another 18 months for the final season, that gives George close to 2 1/2 years to finish A Dream of Spring. It's not impossible. If he doesn't get it done, then screw him, they gave him a chance. But I think he does deserve some more time.
Fuck that noise - Fat Boy has had 20 years to finish the series and hasn't. The actors are already aging too quickly for the story as it is already. If Book Fanbois (who apparently just love descriptions of food for some reason) don't want to deal with spoilers they can just not watch. Once he sold his rights to a TV show, he lost his right to whine about it outpacing him.
Nothing like how old Meadow and the crappy Kid were after all the huge jumps and ridiculous waits during Sorpanos run.
