Well, i'd argue that Cersei's situation isn't truly a win since I find the sparrows particularly creepy. And Drogon pretty much just ran away with Dany. Neither for me was a 'fuck yeah!' moment, but could be just me.

I'm with you Skelas, I am terrified of the season ending with the major cliffhanger we've been referencing. Still my wife (who's never read the books), is totally dialed into the show, and doesn't seem to be fatiguing at all. If anything, it is going in the other direction for her.

[spoiler]If Jon gets stabby stabbed, they need to at least give a clear hope that he lives, or people are going to totally lose their shit (my wife included).[/spoiler]

Thats the real takeaway from this show - evil will always prevail, because good is dumb.

This pretty much encompasses the greatest fear I have for the show. Varis, Tyrion, and Jon are really the only 'good-guy' characters left that I have any interest in. Dany's entitlement (and this may be an acting thing) is starting to get on my nerves a bit, but maybe this vacation with Drogon will help be a character transformation for Dany. Arya's arc is painfully dull at the moment though. I'm still very much all in though, and I still think about episode 8.
