HBO - Game of Thrones SPOILERS INSIDE. you have been warned

A friend and I were discussing this today. We pretty much think The Song of Fire and Ice is about Jon Snow's life and events of his lifetime. I think he is part Targaryen and Lyanna promised Ned to take Snow and promise to never tell. Ned's a promise keeper. If you reread the first book, you'll see a lot of hints. He never cheated. He is keeping a promise protecting an innocent boy from his friend Robert and the Lannisters. The Game of Thrones begins.

That's pretty much the most popular fan theory going on. There are others, but none of them get as much play as this one.

You know Danny can't control/ride her dragons but you know who could? Wargs which means Bran, Jon, and/or Rikkon. Three headed dragon. I bet when Jon comes too, much like Bran, will understand his talent.

I can't remember if Jon has shown the ability to Warg yet or any affinity to doing it. Obviously Bran has and Rikkon isn't a big enough character for me to think he'd be that big of a character later... maybe... but I don't see a plotline finishing where Dany isn't one of the main dragon riders. I could see Dany, Jorah and Daario riding them though! And why can't Dany control her dragons? She pretty much proved that wrong to some extent in the last few episodes. She may not have 100% control of them yet, but they are definitely bonded with her... and if she spends more time with them, there's no reason to think she can't be in 100% control of them. You don't have to be a Targaryen or a Warg to control dragons, you just have to be bonded to them... which some dragons get bonded to multiple people after their riders die. If you've read the World of Ice and Fire, there are people who were basically just regular knights/people.
