I'll watch the next season. I'm just not sitting on the edge of my seat about it.
I think the era of TV series dramas and easy access to CGI worked well in Martin's favor. Not to put down the book lovers, but I would say George Lucas and R.R. Martin were two of the luckiest mediocre writers in recent history.
