My guess would be:
4 or 5 of
Helm = Leather
Chest = Plate
Boots = Cloth
Weapon = Holy Staff
1 of

The abilities in those categories should keep you alive and everyone will be able to heal and protect everyone.
In a larger group maybe one person can have a Cursed Staff
