that's a Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas reference Beute, the book written by the Late Hunter S. Thompson, which was made a movie in 1998 and had Johhny Depp and Benecio Del Torro as the main roles.

During the opening scene, they are on the long desert drive to Las Vegas from southern california, and are hallucinating heavily. The lawyer (benecio's role) suggests they pull over soon, and Hunter S. Thompson refuses because he's currently seeing bats flying in the sky (and trying to swat at them with a fly swatter).

His line is "We can't stop here. This is bat country"

btw those interested in HST, i would highly recomend reading "Rum Diaries", or watching the movie "Where the Buffalo Roam" (where the buffalo is an old movie, wherein Bill Murray Plays Hunter S. Thompson (johnny depp emulated alot of Bill Murray's body language).

Im a Hunter S Thompson freak myself, and also recently got the film "Breakfast with Hunter" which is a bunch of real like clips of Hunter S Thompson from the later part of his life, and quite a bit about the time he ran for sheriff in Aspen Colorado. One of his Platforms when running for office in Aspenn was that Drug Dealers who sold bad/fake drugs would be punished to the full extent of the law. He almost won the election too lol.
