$10. I have a personal rule that I dont buy any stock unless it's at least $300 worth to compensate for the trade price. I actually bought $300 worth of PIR which is about 500 shares.

With $10 to buy and $10 to sell, though, you have to figure that your costs are already almost 7% of your outlay. So you have to make more than 7% to break even. I try to avoid buying less than $2000 of a stock, so at least my costs are only 1%. I usualy make an exception with options, though.
