Crypto

Ouch... I mean, if you really think you made a mistake from selling, you could always just use the money you cashed out and buy now at a discount, if you are really confident it's going to go back up, that could come out as a win in the long run.

But yea, I'll never have anything close to 4k invested in Crypto; I've talked about my issues with the risk of it.  That being said, the market in general sucks right now... even my "safe" mutual funds are all down today. I lost more today in mutual funds than I have invested in Crypto.

Who knows, the Russia war could end tomorrow and drive the market up... Biden could do something smart(unlikely) and it could cause the market to go up... anything could happen.  I keep thinking every day, can it go any lower?  Some of my crypto's are down over 80%... the answer keeps being yes, it can go lower.  If the stock market were taking a hit like Crypto it would feel like the end of the world.

I bought a bunch of CRO and am watching BTC closely. .19 average lets see if it goes to 0 tomorrow! *roll the dice*
I think something fishy is going on and the market will go back up. I think the market needed this to get rid of some of the shitcoins. Not sure what people expected to happen with FJB.

I was actually thinking this was possibly a purposeful flush. I mean, I looked at some of my investments, and they are hurting, but nowhere near what crypto is doing. Granted.. moron...

Looks like the bears are back lol

Luna is like the typical example of why seriously investing in Crypto scares me... was worth over $80 a week ago, now worth less than a penny.

Yes but now people are 3xing their investment in 6 hours with LUNA because it's nothing more than a pump and dump. All I see is assholes or bots pumping LUNA on my Facebook crypto groups. Normally I would jump on the hype pump and dump but not after what happened with Luna. Nope.

I own Bitcoin, CRO and APE that's it.

APE is Yuga Labs and I do like what they are doing with the metaverse, it looks X1000 better than Decentraland. I am waiting to see if APE goes down to $6 and then I will jump on it otherwise I miss that bus. No big deal. Overall I am up 7% but keep an eye on the market. I believe it will be a bull market this week. I am 50% sure of that. lol

Worth watching IMO.

Kevin O'Leary video, he's talking about the US potentially passing regulation on Crypto, which he says is a good thing.  Basically the premise is many companies won't invest in crypto because there is no regulation on it, so until that happens, they are out.  Once the regulations are passed, larger companies will start investing in it, which is very good for Crypto...

Sounds like continuing to invest in Crypto(smartly), even while the market is way down, may work out in the end.

(One of) the biggest problems in that thought process is figuring out which types of Crypto stand even a remote chance of surviving regulation. I good chunk of these NFT type operations where its not much more than a digital ponzi scheme built around hype are probably doomed. The ones that are set up for more nefarious/money laundering type situations are also likely doomed. It will take something like Musk merging Doge into Twitter or EA taking the veil off in game currency and replacing it with Bitcoin, or whatever to give it enough legitimacy and enough direction to regulators on even how to try and regulate it.

It will be chicken or egg. How do you regulate to point there can be confidence when so many digital currencies are created out of thin air. The resulting regulations necessary will either be ineffectual on one side or completely overreaching on the other.

I think this is part of the attraction because if you do guess right, the returns could be enormous. But it will litterally be throwing money on 28 Black and hoping for the best -- I'm not sure how you can 'invest smartly' at this point.

Smart investing requires some level of calculation on risk vs return; there is no way to understand either side of that currently; at least not to an extent you can compare it to 'real' investing vs. side hobby for giggles or another form of gambling for entertainment.

Too many games to fit in signature....

IMO, Investing smartly, is only putting in what you aren't worried about losing.  Crypto is like buying lottery tickets.

I sold my first NFT for a healthy 70% loss.

Bitcoin will be around but I can't say that for the rest of crypto.

Yea, I think a lot of them are going to die off.  Looks like most are up today a little bit. Doubt it's a resurgence though.

Thinning of the herd! I only own CRO, BTC and APE. Let's see what business models live through the drop.

Might as well jinx it...

Pretty good day for Crypto! I'm actually up on a couple of my buys(which is very rare). Be surprised if it lasts, but today was definitely a good day.

My Bitcoin and APE is looking good but who knows if this will last or this will be the last time BTC sees 30k?

note: I do not own this NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club. I suppose I am the only one that gets the joke because I am such a blockchain nerd.

Up down Up down.... We are weeding out the Ponzi Schemes and shitcoins. Bravo!

Crypto is pretty boring for me right now. I saw the dip coming and bought Bitcoin at $27k and APE at $6.00, I have some CRO but just a few thousand which is worth .18 per, so whoooooopie!

I am in a holding at the moment.

I dunno, how do you tell if they actually are done?

I have a few very cheap ones, one of which is AMP which currently is worth .0117. I bought at .041.  It's still going up and down, but has stayed at the .01 mark for a little over a month...

Yep, and I'm not even confident enough that it's going to come back to buy at a discount.  At this point I'm pretty much just sitting and holding and if I lose it all, so be it.

It's a pretty bad crash but our country is doing shitty so.... it makes sense to me. I sold everything and went into BTC which I am still down on.

definitely makes sense... Crypto is taking it hard, my mutual funds are only down like 5-8% whereas my crypto are all down 50+%.

I bought a little more doge when it went down under .06... hopefully that will be the last time I buy until after the elections.

I keep saying that and keep throwing more in... stupid discounts
