All Things Firearms Thread
Here are two new firearms I saw posted recently. They are "different" to say the least.

Introducing the .30-378 Weatherby Magnum.

Pictured centered between a .45 ACP and a Blackberry Pearl. If god were going to smite someone, he would smite them with this. But at $6 for a single round he'd have to get a loan from China.

At over 3,160 ft/sec and over 4,434 ft/lbf this cartridge is a reach out and touch something freight train of kick ass. The rifle pictured below and added to the OP was my grandfather's passed down to my father and is now mine and one day I will pass it on to one of my sons or maybe even my daughter.

Going to the range tomorrow and I will probably fire a few rounds. I only have a box of ammo and at $120~ for a box of 20 it's not something I usually fire for fun. I'd like to bring it out to the field this winter Boar hunting.

It's the finest weapon I have ever held. I remember, as a child, going to the range with my grandfather as he sighted it in for the first time.

Wish I would have started with a .22 semi auto pistol since ammo is expensive and I'm poor.

What is the make and model of that revolver Diggles? I can't identify it. Kinda looks like a S&W Model 620 but I don't think it is.

.357 is fun to shoot. When I was 18, the night before going to the MEPS station to have my physical and be shipped off to BASIC my dad and I were out back shooting milk jugs full of water. I didn't have any hearing protection on me but that didn't stop me from shooting until I couldn't hear a damn thing. Next morning off to MEPS and all I could hear was ringing. Some how I passed the hearing test anyway.
