With the jeep you can at least run to the other side or jump over it to slow down these fuckers until you can click the thing. Just brought back a fuckton of stuff using the jeep. Two people with jeeps would equal two fucktons.

If you can't click on a bike that is on you not the bike. That means you buried it in grass and didn't clear it. When you park a Bike you need to clear the grass around it. That is the only reason you won't get on the bike. You think you are clicking on it but you are clicking on something layered over the Bike.
I don't see anything wrong with a second Jeep but I just don't think we have the materials. To me Jeeps are way overboard, they are cumbersome, can't off road and are slow compared to a copter or bike. Have you tried flying?
The real downside to Jeeps are the zombies like to beat on them. They don't beat on any other machine.
I can certainly get that you can over load them with materials.
Jeeps are the reason we had so much stuff in the games. It's all about hauler size. I would prefer a motorcycle but they don't haul as much.

We left the melee tower busted last night. Have to have Arsilon look at it. The zombies are busting the floor out leading into the tower rather than doing the mosh pit and it's hard to melee them. Not sure what's different from last time. Is this tower 1 taller?

Last blood moon was on day 144. Used and repaired shotgun tower. Traders refreshed on day 145. Consolidated the shoppings signs so people have room. Day is 146 I think.

Are they banging on the wall instead of jumping? Or was that boomer damage that they then tried to exploit?
I'd have to relook at the tower -- it's possible i have it off by 1 in height since I was re-using the existing structure vs. building it from scratch. Pretty sure it's correct though.
Are they at least coming into the funnel area? I wasn't sure if the outer walls would screw with the pathing -- recall how hard it was for me to get them to stop going to that hut across the street last time.

They go into the funnel and then beat on the side of the tower. No boomers went off. All that damage to the flat part under where you stand is just them beating on it. They did jump up the sides of the funnels SOME but also did enough beating damage to get in. It didn't seem especially crazy that night either.
Seems like they really gotta pile up before you can whack them. I heard Vllad mostly using his shotgun.

They weren't in big enough piles to actually hit them in melee. They just stood at the bottom banging on the walls. Rarely one jumped up but in general I couldn't reach them since they just sat at the bottom. When that filled up they went to the sides.

I got a bunch of food in the new place and now have a whole new crop working. I had to lay special soil down in order to get tree's to fully mature so you have to plant in a very specific area. You can't grow tree's beyond just 600 value in the desert without top soil. If you don't know where the top soil is don't bother planting tree's.
I will start building a road between the old and new location and see if I can expedite the transfer of goods if need be. I will be keeping a lot of food and goods at the old location just incase.

Here do you guys want the respawn/bed locations at in the new base?
Do you want me to go ahead and start moving things to the new base?

Sure, I think we leave the beds there until we have a place to do the Bloodmoon. You can certainly move goods though.

We should leave raw materials, etc. at the old place so we have things to repair until such point we have a new bloodmoon structure.
We can gather raw materials fresh in the new place. Also any new scavenging run loot can be brought to the new place vs. the old. I filled out the storage containers this morning so we should be good on that end.
It's still pretty cozy in that room but it should work given there's only a couple of use there at any one time usually anyway.

Slamz can you reboot the server? The stuff from the jeep that went missing last night appeared in the same jeep today and sent todays stuff who knows where.
Post a message here in when it has been rebooted.

Did a quick search about vehicle duping and found one post that may describe what we're seeing. He says it happens when you pick the vehicle up (and/or put it back down). He didn't exactly describe the steps but I think it was just:
1) Deploy vehicle
2) Drive it any distance. 2 feet, even.
3) Pick it back up.
4) Vehicle will return to its original position while also being in your pocket.
Might be we've not noticed this because typically we are driving some distance before realizing we should probably be the owner and then we pick it up and put it down. Drive home and hey, where'd this other bike come from? Then, later, pick it up again (now sending a copy to the middle of nowhere, where we last picked it up) and hey, where'd THIS bike come from in the middle of nowhere?
I guess the moral of the story is to try and avoid picking vehicles up.
I think it's meant to be a safety feature. I once had a mine collapse while my minibike was parked above. In the collapse, the minibike just vanished. I walked back to base and there was a minibike where I had picked mine up from. I think the game basically say "oh some glitch made this thing disappear, I'll just put it back" but it's applying it to intentional picking up too.

I have seen the scenario where if you crash while in transit you come back and your vehicle is back at your origin a few times in our multi-players servers (fun when you have to walk all the way back). I have not seen it where your vehicle is at both places however. But as you suggest, I'm not typically picking it up either.
Perhaps if you pick it up and catch the timing just right or there is a packet lost somewhere you get the same situation but you still have the vehicle in your inventory and it's at the origin location too.
Given most duping bugs seem to revolve around forcing the client and server to get out of sync; and given how many of these typically involve forcing the server to crash under certain conditions, this would make sense and would explain what we've seen.
I don't know that it's limited to just a crash and if there isn't some other out of sync scenario that can also happen. Again, the only way to ensure it doesn't happen, I suppose, is to not pick it up.

Neebs is my favorite gaming guys.
They made a couple of video's about 7 days to die. Something Slamz can steal when he makes a video about us!

I think we have this server pretty much in check? Any thoughts on difficulty or further progression?
If we are wrapping up this game I am going to try it solo one last time on some impossible setting. If you guys want to keep going to try something new in it I am up for that as well.

Just go from 8 zombies per player per blood moon to 10-16. That and set the date x10 forward. So we would then be on day like 3800. Set the blood moon spawn from 1 day + 0-5 days to 1 day + 0-4 or 0-3. Also set night time to 21:00 - 5:00, so the blood moon would be extended by two hours. I think that would ramp up the difficulty.

Is there any reason not to have a bloodmoon every night?

I changed it to 10 zombies each for BM and added 1 hour to the night (which presumably adds 1 hour to the BM). You don't get to set a start/stop time for night, just an hour count so I dunno where it added it. Bumped BM warning to 16:00 instead of 17:00 in case it's an hour earlier now. BM schedule was 1+(0-5) now it's 1+(0-3).
But yeah we are kinda wrapping this up. I dunno if there are any interesting POIs we should go clear. There are supposed to be some unique ones on the map but maybe that's just "Shotgun Messiah factory" type stuff?

Can you set the date forward so harder enemies should be out and about? At least to around day 1500+. I would like to have it around day 3500+.

Their are quite a few unique POI's, we found the cave that drops the rare axe but it had no axe. I am not sure we have even found these POI's?
I would love it if we had faster BM's so it would put pressure to BM, repair, farm and go explore.
