Yeah, I sold too early for sure...TNA finished more than a dollar higher than I sold it.
Big earnings week next week, especially Tuesday...AAPL, EMC, BAC and INTC (all of which I have options in).

I wouldn't be surprised if AAPL and the market drop after earnings, whatever they are. Sell the news and all that. I think I might wait a couple of days before my next move as well. My overall bias is for the market to go higher by the end of the year, though.

I went ahead and bought tza. Just feel like there is going to be some profit taking, and still some unknown euro trash stuff.

I think that was a good move. Shorts are out in full force today. I notice VMWare beat on the bottom and top line after hours, and raised guidance, and is getting massacred. That's a bad sign, and shows there is more selling to come. I may even buy some Apple puts tomorrow.

yea, I'm out of apple now too. Mostly just because I was pissed when I didnt sell it and it was 20% up. So I sold for a 10% gain and feel good.
Where are you getting real-time Short data from?

Real time short data? No, I'm just looking at after-hours quotes (on Yahoo Finance and Etrade). VMW is down 4.71%, IBM is down 3.7%. IBM beat on earnings, but missed ever so slightly on revenue.
I'm glad I got out of TNA on Friday night, but I wish I'd bought TZA at the same time. I'll probably hold off on buying either one until later in the week now.

Out of TZA. Stop kicked in, lost 7%
I'm a wait and see now. Everything in my gut says we are about to begin a strong rally to the end of the year.

I have no idea what to do right now. just sitting on cash. AAPL is just a blip. No one was buying phones, because they knew the new one was coming out. I personally, am not buying an iPad until they release a new one heh. Maybe that's their one screwup, rushing upgrades so quickly that they have their customers questioning everything.

Yea I'm sort of in a wait and see.if the market drops a bit more I will jump back into tna. But right now everything seems like its in the middle.... could go up, could go down....
I'm hoping the strikes in Greece will force the market back down to the low 11k or high 10k again. At which point it will be TNA.
If the market pops to 12k, I have no idea what to do, since my feeling the market is going to do well for the rest of the year.

Back into TZA, but this time weekly call options (expire a week today), at the $40 strike. Basically protection against Euro meltdown. 115 bucks each right now.

I'm still out right now. Wish I would have triggered on my tna toughts,.....
I honestly think the market is going to go higher. I don't know, with news on euro looks they will have a plan on weds. Bad bank news behind us.... even though the Dow hit 11.7k, this feels like the new middle of the channel.

How high will this market go... Dow flirting with 12k now. I think the companies that are going into be reporting the rest of the week are going to do well. Imdefinitly going to buy tza some time this week.
Waiting.......

Just bought tza for 33.44. I'm in for the bears / bulls selling into profit..... go go bears.
My bet is market is going to yawn at euro meeting on wed. Looking for s&p to dip below 1200.

Keeping my TZA calls, although they are well out of the money right now, so it would take a huge drop from them to be profitable. But you never know...

What a rally. You can see the pressure that was only being held back by euro trash.
How high will it go... Dow up 320 now.
Lots of people pridicting a strong end of year. Some saying s&p to 1500. What would really blow the top off, is a solid unemploy, ent number in first week of Oct.
My gut is there will be some pull back for profit. Been. Really strong 2 weeks. But this might also be people poring money back into the market. In which case, I feel for the shorter out there.
At this point I'm not sure what's next. Part of me thinks its time to move to a day tree like condition on tza and tna. Jump in make 2% jump out.

I took some profits!
I have a feeling that there will be another big pullback (maybe tomorrow), but I'm too chicken to buy more TZA here.
