Did anyone pick one of these up? I meant to, but by the time I got to Google play it was already on 4 week backorder.

I already have 4 Apple TVs, but I wouldn't mind carrying one of these around when visiting family/friends or staying in hotels (plug it into the hotel TV and start streaming movies and shows for the kids...although I guess wifi might be a problem).

Nope, no interest from me... although I think the price point on it is awesome

price point is fantastic, and for my cable-less household, I'm digging it! (although I doubt my ipad is going to work with this - laptop only I guess)

I don't personally have a use for one but I think it is a nifty little gadget.

I don't have a use, but its a great little idea. Interesting how little fan fare there was.

Also interesting how the networks are already working to block content. You can have a PC and stream, but not a google or apple device.

Really? I thought you could stream from any Chrome browser, whether it's desktop or mobile?

I ordered one, even though it's on backorder. Should be a fun toy to play with.

Yeah not sure what you mean by that. You can initiate a stream by a phone/tablet/pc. Its not actually streaming via that device, the device is just functionally your remote control.
