Hey all,

As I posted in the old VZ sticky in the General forum, I am an old member of VZ. My name there was Clonexx Dwarfxx on the light side and Kleaner on the dark side.

I have many friends from VZ who I haven't spoken to in quite some time, but are now with Purge. I would love to come join you in Warhammer and be among the best VZ had as far as players go.

Over the years I have had a lot of experience with MMOs outside of EQ. I have played every major MMO out there, and was the co-founder of a guild in WoW which was one of the top 3 guilds on the server as far as Content went. We had a lot of 2nd's on the server, but we were competing with Conquest, so we did not have any firsts

I have since moved away from that mindset, as being required to log on 5 days a week for 5-7 hours a day to raid just wore me down. I can no longer deal with that kind of hardcore schedule and have adapted a far more casual demeanor.

That doesn't mean I won't log on a lot, it just means that when I log on, I would like to be doing something I enjoy rather then something I am forced to do because of attendance or something equally stupid. From what I can gather, that is exactly what Purge is about, so I think I would be a great fit.

If you need to know anything more, or have any questions for me, please feel free to ask. I am hoping most VZ people remember me, but you never know

Edit : To add, I remember I was in Knights of Vallon when Breandon and Thorien were there. I was also in Karne's guild, which I can't remember the name off the top of my head. I was a member of HECK when it was respectable, and quit long before it turned into what I have been told was a FeF fest. Hope that helps with anyone trying to remember who I was

Your name sounds familiar to me. If I remember correctly, we battled once or twice in Velks Lab. It's been what? Seven or eight years ago now (wow!), so I may be getting this wrong, but dang your name really seems familiar.

Not a problem, I'll just have to look at the memberlist and see who I know would vouch for me. I'd like to say Reipin or Flab would, but I can't speak for them.

And yes Cinder, we fought more then once, pretty much all over the place

I enjoyed fighting guilds like Illuvitae and the other purists. Even though I was "Lighty" I always respected the purist guilds since it was so difficult to get anything done with just one race. I fought many an elf in Illuvitae and always had a good time and a good experience.

Edit : Oh and it's man..heh. I have a wife and an 11 year old daughter now. It's been 9-10 years since EQ started and what...8-9 since VZ came online? So many memories, and even though it's peppered with memories of complete assholery, it is also filled with enormous amounts of great ones with great people, even those I fought tooth and nail from day 1.

Also here is a short, quick list of people I saw in the memberlist for the board. I don't know if all of them are members, but some of them may vouch for me. I don't want to say they WILL vouch for me, because I won't speak for someone else.

Also, I see a ton of names on that list that I recognize. Unfortunately, I know them only in passing and by name. They may remember my name from fights or guilds, but I doubt they know me personally. Just know that I do know and remember many of the names on the list as people who were great to fight or hang with on VZ.

Great to be around so many names I remember and respect. I can see why Purge is what it is. If I get in, I can't wait to get back in touch with everyone and to finally play a game again with some of the best people around

No, not at all. Not sure why my name would make you think that, but beyond being a "Lighty" instead of a purist, I always LnS'd and honored the community rules that most people agreed would make the server a better place. I never really knew you at all Diggles. I knew who you were and of course who the Iggles were, but I had almost no interaction with you except for a few PvP encounters.

Karne, Tawonda and Breandon all know me extremely well, just ask them about who I was and how I acted.
