I think there was a Stephen King short story about a blob of black goop that lived in a lake and ate whoever/whatever it could get its slimy pseudopods on.

I had to look up the Predator effect. This line from one of the articles made me lol:
Quote:Gray Davis is no Bill Paxton (the only actor to fall prey to a Predator, the Terminator, and one of James Cameron's Aliens).

well I forget the exact name, but basically everyone that has been in that movie is becoming a governor or some high rank in the government! We can extend this effect to Predator 2 as well!
Jessie Ventura - Minnesota Governor
Arnold Schwarzenegger - California Governor
Danny Glover - President
Lets guess whose next!?!
Gary Busy - Senator
Carl Weathers - Mayor

I believe there are Eskimo tribes and such that still have rights to whale as part of their culture.
